Quentin McCormick is to become the new managing director of Pavis Financial Management.

The boardroom reshuffle will also see current managing director Bob Newton, who joined the business 25 years ago, become executive chairman.

Mr McCormick steps up to the role after five years as a director at Pavis, during which time it has enjoyed strong year-on-year growth and now advises clients on investments in excess of £190m.

The firm recently relocated to a 3,000 sq ft office space at 4 St Paul’s Square in Liverpool.

It was also named in the Top 100 for 2017 by financial planning industry magazine Citywire/New Model Adviser for the third consecutive year.

Julie Calvert remains as a director and will continue to help lead the firm’s growing team of senior financial planners and specialist support staff.

Speaking of his new role, Mr McCormick said: “Pavis is now one of the most respected independent firms of chartered financial planners in the country and that success is down to almost three decades of tireless work by Bob, Julie and the entire team.

“We have a real collective ethic here and a shared dedication to consistently raise the bar in all aspects of the advice we give to our clients.

“With our fantastic new office in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district and an ever-growing team of talented advisers, we are in a unique position to move forward and I look forward to leading the firm through some exciting times.”
