A new venue is to open in the heart of Alderley Edge early next month.

The news comes just days after it was announced that private equity-backed restaurant brand Victors has acquired a new site in the exclusive Cheshire village.

More than £1.2m is being invested in the new Victors bar which was formerly owned by The Alchemist.

Alderley Edge is a long-time favourite haunt of footballers and the wife of former England and Premiership striker Emile Heskey is behind the latest venture.

Chantelle Heskey and business partners and friends, Peter Hunter and James Golden are the new owners of Parea.

The new restaurant and bar will be spread over two floors and be able to accommodate 120 covers at any one sitting.

Parea will serve breakfast from early morning complete with vegan and gluten free choices through to lunch and dinner off their Mediterranean menu.

Chantelle Heskey said: “Since having my fourth baby, Mendez… I have found it increasingly difficult to maintain a healthy eating lifestyle and I know many other women find it hard too.

“If you’ve been training you don’t want to feel guilty when having lunch and many places don’t offer a very wide selection when it comes to being healthy.”

James Golden added: ‘We wanted to keep our menu options simple but not be boring, all three of us have big personalities and our focus has to be on the fun.

“Chantelle and I have worked together closely for many years with charity events and more recently with Pink Tiger, so being able to offer the live entertainment to people within one venue all week will be fantastic’.

Peter Hunter says: ‘We are just very excited for Parea to launch having spent well over 12 months searching for the perfect location, when we saw this property we knew it was the perfect spot for us.”
