Transport specialist motors into Nexus Industrial Estate

Industrial specialist LM6 has announced the letting of Unit 1 Nexus Industrial Estate in Knowsley on behalf of Tilstone Industrial

The 24,288 sq ft unit has been let to newly-formed distribution company Ascent Transport on a new five-year lease at a headline rental of £4 per sq ft.

Up to 20 staff will be based at the site, distributing a range of products including computer accessories, pet care products and IT equipment, nationally.

Anthony O’Keefe, of LM6, said: “Following the recent acquisition of the 185,000 sq ft Nexus Industrial Estate, Tilstone has undertaken lease re-gears with key occupiers and invested in a number of building improvements.

“The interest shown in the site and in this letting is further evidence of the continued demand for quality space around the North West’s prime motorway locations.”

Michael Jones, of Tilstone Industrial, added: “We are delighted to have let this unit to Ascent and are currently working with a number of other key tenants to upgrade their space.

“We are also discussing with Knowsley Council a further 35,000 sq ft of new-build warehouse and industrial space which will be available to buy or let.”
