Arket opens its first store outside London, in Liverpool One

Grosvenor Europe has announced that, Arket, the modern-day market offering essential products for men, women, children and the home, has opened its first store outside Greater London on Liverpool One’s Paradise Street.

The 8,600 sq ft (net sales area) store opens a year after the brand first launched in the UK on Regent Street and in Covent Garden.

Arket occupies a two-storey site on Paradise Street and features a vegetarian café based on the New Nordic Food Manifesto, alongside Arket’s products, designed to be used and loved for a long time.

Alison Clegg, director, asset management, Grosvenor Europe, sai: “Arket’s refreshing take on retail reflects Liverpool One’s ethos.

“The brand sits well alongside the other international fashion brands located here, further strengthening the fashion line-up at Liverpool One, which is one of the strongest in the UK.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Metis Real Estate Advisors acted for Liverpool One and Arket dealt direct.
