A Liverpool builders’ merchant which supplies products to the UK’s building and maintenance markets has opened two new depots as part of its latest expansion, creating 11 jobs.

Aintree-based Sovini Trade Supplies identified Eccles and Ellesmere Port as its next locations for establish outlets.

The firm, which is part of parent company The Sovini Group, has opened two new stores following a £9m deal with property services giant, Liberty Group.

The company’s growth, which is partly thanks to its industry-leading ‘Bistrack’ technology and customer service, has successfully enabled the award-winning organisation to now operate from three branches across the North West, including their original branch in Aintree.

The new Eccles store is located on the popular Lyntown Trading Estate, just 2.5 miles west of Manchester city centre and situated close to the North West motorway network.

In Ellesmere Port, the third branch is situated on the gated Portside Industrial Estate located just 200 yards from M53.

The new stores are set to enable Sovini Trade Supplies to expand its current distribution network supplying construction and maintenance products across the North.

Company director, Anita Harrison-Carroll, said: “I am delighted to announce the company’s recent expansion which has created local employment opportunities and scope for business development across the wider region.

“Our commitment is to continue providing added value, ensuring our clients benefit from enhanced productivity, visibility and financial savings.

“We are looking forward to welcoming new businesses to our supply chain as we explore more opportunities across the North West and wider.”

Sovini said further UK stores are planned to open in the next few years.
