Warrington industrial park sold for £2.7m

Albion Park

Acting on behalf of T & T Thompson (Holdings), Davies Harrison Real Estate has sold Albion Park – a 90,000 sq ft industrial park in Glazebury, Warrington, for £2.7m.

W Howard Limited, a supplier of MDF profiles, based in Astley, Manchester, acquired the park and plans to expand its northern operations as it looks to move in to the vacant 70,000 sq ft location.

Albion Park sits on a five acre site, comprising seven buildings and is also home to Better Bathrooms and East Lancashire Commercials.

Rick Davies, of Davies Harrison Real Estate, said: “There was strong demand for this site from both the owner-occupier, and investment market, reaffirming our confidence in the strength of the current occupier market.

“However, W Howard was the preferred bidder as it was close to its head office and the growing company had an immediate need for
the vacant space.”

Morgan Williams was the joint letting agent.

W Howard Limited was unrepresented.
