Addleshaw Goddard completes fourth deal of the year for Literacy Capital

Corporate law firm Addleshaw Goddard’s Northern corporate and banking teams have completed their fourth deal of the year for Literacy Capital, advising the investor on its acquisition of Mountain Healthcare.

Mountain Healthcare specialises in providing Sexual Assault Referral Services and Police Custodial Healthcare, supporting the interface between healthcare and the criminal justice system.

Through its commitment to forensic healthcare and high-quality 24/7 service offering, the business has built a strong reputation in the market.

Alongside its investment, Literacy Capital will also be adding further strength to Mountain Healthcare’s management team and board, with two individuals from its network joining two of the four original founders.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, was led by partner Andrew Green and managing associate Katie Parker, with associates Gemma Porter and Joshua Nock in the corporate team and associates Emma Lowe and Emma Whitehall in the banking team.

Katie Parker said: “It’s great that we have been able to build on our already established relationship with Literacy Capital to deliver yet another successful and strategic acquisition, which adds further strength and investment to an already leading company.

“We look forward to working with the team again soon.”
