Approval granted for luxury homes in Cheshire

The Winterley scheme

Reserved Matters planning permission has now been granted by Cheshire East Council for Duchy Homes to build 29 new luxury houses in the Cheshire village of Winterley.

The house builder has secured full permission to deliver the homes on Hassall Road, combining executive 4-bed and 5-bed detached houses with high-quality 2-bed and 3-bed affordable houses and bungalows.

The site has been used in recent years for agricultural grazing and will now be transformed by the new development, named Nursery Fields.

Duchy Homes will provide an on-site play area with play equipment as part of its plans to incorporate open-space facilities within the scheme, as well making education and highway contributions to the local council.

The housebuilder says it has a reputation for the highest standards, recognised by a repeated triumph in the industry-acclaimed NHBC Awards.

Nearby towns Crewe and Sandbach offer a wealth of facilities and, with the new development only three miles from the M6 motorway, excellent transport links mean that Manchester, Chester and Liverpool are all less than an hour away.

Works are scheduled to begin immediately at Nursery Fields, with tree and hedge protection measures followed by roads and sewers going in next month.

The new homes are expected to be released for sale in late Spring 2019.
