A team of solicitors from Gorvins Solicitors have played a key role in the development of the world’s first full-service global agency dedicated exclusively to B2B market research .

The Stockport-based firm advised the shareholders of B2B International, one of the world’s leading specialist providers of bespoke market research solutions – with offices in Manchester, London, Dusseldorf, New York and Beijing – during their acquisition by international conglomerate Dentsu Aegis Network, for an undisclosed fee.

B2B International will now become part of gyro, the Dentsu Aegis Network brand which serves a global roster of clients such as Vodafone, eBay and Google.

The agency, has 17 offices worldwide and is headquartered in New York.

Christian Mancier said: “It was a pleasure to work with the shareholders of B2B International on what is a truly international transaction which brought with it a degree of complexity throughout the course of the transaction.

“The synergy between B2B International’s bespoke offering and first rate client list with the global reach and client base of Gyro offers so many opportunities going forward for everyone involved, and I wish the sellers the best of luck in their new roles with Gyro going forward.”

B2B International, whose clients include Stanley Black & Decker, Brother, Samsung, Microsoft and Npower will remain headquartered in the UK, with offices in London and Manchester, and operate under the brand, B2B International – a gyro company.

Nick Hague, head of growth at B2B International’s Manchester office, said: “Christian and the wider team at Gorvins have been excellent from start to finish.

“Our deal was an international one which brought about added complexities but their expertise and guidance was truly welcomed.”

Hallidays Accountants in Stockport provided tax and accounting advice to the sellers, and Dentsu Aegis Network were advised by CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP.
