Making You Content has more than doubled its staff and relocated to bigger premises linked to expansion plans.

The Northern Quarter-based content agency said the key hires are designed to raise its game in the digital sector.

It has grown from three staff to seven with the recruitment of Lucinda Jukes as editor, Helen Downing as social media manager, and Miranda Blake and Sam Askey as copywriters.

And the business has moved to bigger premises in Binks Building in anticipation of growth, with the intention of increasing capacity and capability as a business.

The recruitment drive coincides with a constantly-developing client base.

Alongside a strong foothold in the North West, Making You Content continues to build both local and global connections – even collaborating with agencies in New York City.

Founder and director, Kelly Gilmour-Grassam, said: “I set up Making You Content to bridge the gap between freelance copywriters and full-service agencies.

“Communication underpins every aspect of marketing, and I saw a need for an agency that would put this front and centre.”

The company says its niche lies in its commitment to the written word.

From branding workshops to web content, blogging and email marketing, Making You Content helps businesses enhance their communication.

This specialist focus has enabled the agency to double in size year-on-year since its inception less than five years ago.

“We’ve identified a huge appetite for high-quality copywriting services, and our recent hires are enabling us to add more value to our clients – both in terms of content creation and distribution,” said Kelly.

She added that, the wide range of specialisms in the Making You Content team means it is equipped to cater for almost any industry.
