El Al launches new route to Israel from Manchester Airport
Israeli national carrier El Al has announced a new direct flight from Manchester Airport to Ben Gurion International Airport.
The service is scheduled to start on May 26, 2019.
Ben Gurion is conveniently located between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, offering the perfect starting point to any city break, adventure or beach holiday in Israel.
The new route from Manchester will offer a full-service airline departure from the North of the UK.
El Al will operate three weekly flights on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, on a Boeing 737-800, offering two classes of service in business and economy cabins.
The airline has also released introductory promotional fares, which are available until November 26, including economy class, from £199 – one way, hand baggage only, economy class, From £289 – return, hand baggage only, and business class, from £929 – return, for travel from May 26, 2019, until July 11, 2019/September 1, until September 24, 2019.
Yariv Levin, Israel’s Minister of Tourism, said “We are delighted that El Al will be opening up a flight path from Manchester to Tel Aviv.
“With more carriers flying to Israel it is clear that there is an ever-increasing demand to visit our country, and we look forward to showing everything we have to offer to visitors in 2019.”

“Not only have we have seen an increasing number of tourists visiting Israel, but also an increase in new routes opening all over the world.
