Salford-based Morson Group acquires risk management specialist
Salford-based recruitment group and design consultancy, Morson, has acquired multi-disciplinary engineering, technical and risk management consultancy Waldeck, for an undisclosed sum.
Under this agreement Peterborough-based Waldeck will become a wholly-owned subsidiary, maintaining its own brand and contracts while working alongside other Morson Group companies.
Morson has a global presence across all engineering markets including rail, aerospace & defence, energy/power, infrastructure and built environment, IT and oil and gas, and is the UK’s leading technical recruiter.
Morson has more than 50 offices worldwide and is headquartered in Manchester, pay rolling more than 14,500 individuals daily.
Waldeck will be working alongside Morson Projects, an existing subsidiary of Morson Group, which provides cost-effective, multi-disciplined engineered solutions, project management, analysis, design and cyber-secure software services to clients across a variety of industrial sectors.
Services range from complete ‘turnkey’ project management through to detailed design exercises.
Clients have the opportunity to outsource complete engineering packages to Morson Projects.
The two firms together will have a workforce of around 800 professional staff, and a turnover in excess of £50m per year.
