Halecroft Recruitment, executive search and selection, has moved its head office to a new location on Broomfield Lane, Hale.

After a successful four years, exceeding growth targets, the firm said they had outgrown their current space in offices nearby.

Halecroft was founded by managing director Tricia Bulman, a recruitment sector veteran of 35 years.

She explained the move was to enable future growth, but also to provide a more prominent presence for the six-strong business: “In these days of GDPR I think you have to be visible, so we are now a ‘shop front’ premises.”

The business specialises in high end senior appointments, but, Tricia said, also provides a 360-degree offer, including temporary, permanent, interim, and contract placements.

Last year Halecroft also launched two new divisions, a digital marketing arm, and a PA & support function.

Tricia said plans to increase their headcount will follow in the new year.

She revealed her first taste of the recruitment sector was as a 17-year-old Christmas temp: “I never went back after that and worked my way up,” she added.

Tricia reached the position of operations manager at a leading recruitment agency, when she took the decision to head out on her own as Halecroft Recruitment.

She said: “It’s been a long and rewarding career in an industry I’m passionate about.

“And the decision to start my own agency has proven that if you’re a self-starter and happy to put in those extra hours, success will follow.”

In the four years since becoming an independent recruitment company, Halecroft has grown from strength-to-strength, and is on target to reach £1m turnover this year.

This has allowed the company to grow, taking on new recruitment consultants, a marketing executive and now, a new location.

Talent acquisition partner Kim Dodd has been with Halecroft from the start. She said: “It’s amazing to look back and see how far we have come in such a short period.

“We are recognised for our quality service, not just locally, but across the UK, we are really excited for what the coming year has in store for Halecroft.”

Tricia said she is confident the move to new premise will promote faster growth and standing within the industry.

“The level of visibility that being on the street brings is a huge bonus to any company, but in the case of Halecroft and Hale, it’s a perfect match.

“Hale is an affluent area, with a high proportion of inhabitants holding high level positions, making them the prime audience for an executive search and selection company.”

She said it has been an incredible four years for Halecroft and believes that this is only the start.

“With new premises and additional recruiters, further expansion is secured to move into new areas of the business world.”
