A new route connecting Manchester Airport to the Ukraine has been announced.

Ryanair has unveiled the new route from Manchester to Kiev, with a twice-weekly service commencing in April 2019.

Ryanair’s Manchester Summer schedule includes 62 routes in total with seven new routes to Bordeaux, Gothenburg, Marrakech, Marseille, Nantes, Thessaloniki and Kyiv, which will deliver over 5.4m customers through Manchester next year.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “We are pleased to announce another new Manchester route and our first from the North West to Kiev, Ukraine, commencing in April 2019, which will operate twice weekly, our 7th new Manchester Summer 2019 route.

“To celebrate we are releasing seats on sale for this new route from just £5 for travel between April and June, which are available for booking until midnight Wednesday, November 21.

“Since these amazing low prices will be snapped up quickly, customers should act now to avoid missing out.”

Julian Carr, aviation director for Manchester Airport, said: “It’s great to see Ryanair adding another new route for Summer 2019 from Manchester.

“Kiev is currently unserved and this route will open up the Ukraine for the 22 million people in our catchment area.”
