Lost Soles finds permanent home at waterfront tourist hot-spot

A Liverpool fashion brand has opened a store in the city’s tourist hot-spot, Royal Albert Dock.

Lost Soles dipped its toe in the water with a two-month pop-up store at the waterfront site and has now set up a permanent base, which opened to great acclaim earlier this month.

Lost Soles is known for its unique graphic printed t-shirts which are sold among other items from its current men’s collection, with a range of in-store exclusive designs and re-releases of sold-out favourites available to buy.

Originally launched selling limited edition trainers, the online brand expanded into clothing, and with orders shipping out across Europe it built up a huge fan base and a following of celebrity customers.

They include boxers Tony Bellew and Callum Smith, CamelPhat DJs David and Michael, Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher, Danielle Lloyd, local band Red Rum Club and Liverpool DJ Anton Powers, who regularly features on Lost Soles’ Instagram feed which boasts more than 39,000 followers.

The permanent store opened its doors on Saturday, November 17, and received an overwhelming response from fans.

Founder, John Sutton, said: “The response we’ve had has blown us away, and we can’t thank our customers enough for the continuous support.

Fans queue outside the new store

“Saturday was amazing, it was the best day we’ve had trading since starting Lost Soles, and it’s great to be able to call Royal Albert Dock our home.”

Lost Soles sits among an exciting mix of bars, restaurants and shops at Royal Albert Dock. Chris Wright, portfolio manager of owner Aberdeen Standard, said: “It’s been great to witness the success Lost Soles has enjoyed as a pop-up, and we’re very happy to be offering them a permanent site on the dock.

“We always anticipated the store would be a hit with dock visitors, and it brings an exciting vibrancy to the waterfront, along with the other independent fashion stores, such as Leather Satchel Company.”
