Bury and Bolton law firm Clough & Willis is further strengthening its residential property department with the appointment of Kelly Fitton as its newest property conveyancer.

She has joined the firm from Cyril Morris Arkwright.

Kelly’s new role includes working on sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and Help to Buy transactions.

Berrison is celebrating its 10th anniversary by expanding its office and its team.

The learning and development company has added new storage to its Kendal headquarters and has appointed three new associates.

Formed in the Autumn of 2008 by Colin and Tina Dulson, Berrison offers leadership development and team coaching events and activities to organisations all over the world.

The team of 15 works with companies such as Airbus and Reckitt Benckiser, and has been expanded with the arrival of Paul O’Riely, Steve Gee and Viv Cuthill, who join the company to manage projects in a senior facilitation role.

Colin said: “We’ve enjoyed healthy growth every year since we started and the addition and expansion of our event arm has meant we have an even larger collection of props and tools.

Whittle Jones, the asset management brand of Northern Trust Company, has welcomed Vanessa Case to its North West office.

Vanessa has joined the company as lettings/management surveyor and will be looking after properties across Lancashire, including Chorley, Leyland, Preston and Blackburn.

The Lancashire portfolio covers more than 317,000 sq ft in more than 185 units, with a range of high quality offices from just one person, upwards, and industrial units from 500 sq ft.

Vanessa brings with her a diverse property management background, having previously worked at Capita as property surveyor covering all landlord and tenant matters.

She said: “I am pleased to be starting a new chapter in my career here at Whittle Jones, everyone has given me a warm and

Manchester-based wealth advisor Artorius has announced the appointment of four senior business and City leaders to join its advisory council.

The appointment of Andrew Formica, James Leigh-Pemberton, Darren Carter and Bill Holroyd to the advisory council brings extensive financial services and commercial experience to Artorius that will help the executive leadership team in delivering the next phase of the company’s strategic plans.

The proceeds have enabled Artorius to invest in leading systems and to hire experienced individuals while leaving a strong balance sheet to fund future growth.

Hawkmont Consulting, the Manchester-based executive search firm, has hired James Calland Smith as a director.

James will be specialising in senior placements within private equity-backed businesses, including CFO’s, NED’s and chairmen.
