New tenants have taken up space in a prestigious office development in South Manchester.

The new tenants have moved into the 1872 Rooms at Towers Business Park in Northenden.

Throgmorton Financial Services and Cherrypop Games have both taken suites on the lower ground floor of the Towers mansion, which has been designed and fitted out as a standalone contemporary hub for small and growing business occupiers.

Landlord Quorum offers a fixed monthly fee, including rent, heating, shared meeting room, kitchen, breakout space and access the business park’s café and bike storage amenities.

Throgmorton, which provides pensions, investment, estate planning and protection advice to a national client base, has relocated from offices in Northenden, Manchester, taking 992 sq ft on a three year lease.

Cherrypop Games has relocated from the upper floors at Towers Business Park taking 1,548 sq ft on a three year lease.

Cherrypop, which is an independent, immersive gaming developer, launched the world’s first VR football tournament inspired by the World Cup.

Joint acting agent James Dickinson of Canning O’Neill spoke about the occupational market being attracted to The 1872 Rooms.

He said: “Quorum has maximised the opportunity at one of South Manchester’s premier business parks, to create a desirable office hub in its quirky lower ground floor space, that supports the region’s entrepreneurial culture.

“With simple lease terms, that include access to all the amenities and community of the business park, we are not surprised to see companies choosing to stay and grow at The 1872 Rooms.”

The Weaver suite, totalling 420 sq ft, remains available to let.

In addition to this a number of ground floor suites ranging in size from 200 to 600 sq ft will be coming to the market over the course of the next month.

Canning O’Neill and Edwards & Co are joint acting agents at The 1872 Rooms.
