Major Salford residential scheme completes

Investment property consultancy Knight Knox and developer Fortis Group have announced the completion of Bridgewater Point, a development located close to the Salford waterfront and Manchester city centre.

Valued at £29.4m, Bridgewater Point follows in the footsteps of the neighbouring Bridgewater Gate development which completed in July 2017.

Bridgewater Point consists of 207 premium apartments, ranging from studios to a large four-bed, and 13 stunning townhouses.

The external area includes a landscaped communal garden and residents will have access to an on-site gymnasium, as well as secure bicycle storage and private parking on selected apartments.

Andy Phillips, commercial director at Knight Knox, said: “We are delighted by the completion of Bridgewater Point.

“Salford is one of the most in-demand areas in the UK and apartments of the quality found at Bridgewater Point are in short supply.

“With both Manchester city centre and MediaCityUK so close by, it is no surprise that the development has proven so popular, especially amongst young professionals moving to the area.”

Director of Fortis Developments, Kieran Moore, said: “Following the success of Bridgewater Gate we had high hopes for Bridgewater Point and it has exceeded all our expectations.

“We are proud to be playing a part in the ongoing regeneration of Salford and have already welcomed the first residents into their new homes.”

Bridgewater Point is the 20th completed development from Knight Knox and Fortis Developments and their second residential scheme to be completed in Salford.
