Three affordable housing schemes proposed by developer

Residential developer Mulbury has submitted planning applications for three affordable housing developments across the North West.

The projects, with a value of more than £14m, will create 114 new homes on sites in Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

This includes 40 homes off Lancaster Avenue, Tyldesley, on behalf of Your Housing Group; 51 homes off Dunrobin Drive, near Chorley, on behalf of One Vision Housing; and 23 homes in Barrow, near Clitheroe, on behalf of Laurus Homes.

All three projects will be built directly by Mulbury, subject to planning permission being granted.

Mulbury currently has more than 750 homes under construction on 13 other sites across the North West.

David Wroe, operations director at Mulbury, said: “These three planning applications further demonstrate the appetite of our clients and development partners for high quality new homes in sustainable locations.

“It also emphasises the continued growth of Mulbury as we seek to deliver more much-needed homes across the region.”

Subject to planning permission being granted, Mulbury expects to be able to start on all three sites in Spring 2019.
