Building contractor’s fire risk division lands £2m worth of contracts

Building contractor Frank Rogers’ fire risk division has secured contracts worth more than £2m.

The Liverpool-based firm says it has seen huge demand from both public and private sector businesses and organisations across the North West.

Contracts have been secured on five projects – for three housing associations, a hotel chain and one local council, with a focus on fire protection, such as fire doors, access hatches, and fire compartmentation.

Dean Rogers, managing director of Frank Rogers, said: “Both public and private sector clients are keen to ensure their properties are safe and adhere to all necessary guidelines particularly in the wake of the tragic incident at Grenfell. We have reacted quickly to meet this surge in demand and have re-trained and upskilled many of our existing staff whilst taking on new recruits. We are now able to offer our clients a full turnkey service of survey, installation and then ongoing maintenance.

“These new contracts mark a fantastic start to the new year. We see this as an exciting time for our fire risk division and are looking forward to building further on these wins and expanding in terms of resources and scope of services.”
