Property developer Bruntwood Works has started work on a new community space at its Atria development in Bolton.

The scheme will create a central community hub within the Atria building, which is home to a wide range of innovative start-ups, SMEs and established businesses.

Situated close to Bolton town centre, Atria provides high quality, statement workspaces.

The characterful building features high ceilings and a fully-glazed central atrium which floods the building with natural light, as well as creating a networking hub and break-out space.

The building has a range of workspace options available on flexible terms and great transport links, super-fast internet connection and meeting rooms which provide companies with the facilities they need to grow.

Bruntwood Works is building on the facilities on offer for businesses with the development of the new community space, which will enable collaboration and businesses within the building to connect.

The new space will feature a bright, creative, and welcoming design, it will include a range of useful spaces, including hot desk options for individuals and groups, private working locations, informal meeting spaces, a telephone booth, and an event area.

It will also feature casual seating areas to encourage customers to work collaboratively and a drinks station, where all building customers can enjoy free tea and coffee while they work.

Andrew Cooke, regional director at Bruntwood Works, said: “We’re so pleased to be starting work on this brand new community space, which will boost collaboration and innovation at Atria, better enabling our resident businesses to make great connections and develop their networks.

“Community and wellbeing are two of our real watchwords when it comes to creating developments which positively impact our customers and we know that great relationships are key to this.

“We hope this new space will provide our residents with a great area to relax, host meetings and events, and maybe even make a valuable connection or two over a good brew.”

Work on the new communal space is due for completion in April.
