DTM Legal is to open an office at No 4 St Paul’s Square in Liverpool.

Building owner, Aberdeen Standard Investments, has secured a 10-year lease with DTM, which operates out of Liverpool and Chester, for a third-floor suite, totalling 3.025 sq ft.

No 4 is among the city’s premier business addresses and offers some of the last remaining Grade A accommodation in Liverpool’s central business district.

DTM is one of a number of professional occupiers that have signed up for space over the past 12 months.

Planning consultancies Gleeds and Pegasus and wealth management firm Pavis have all moved in to the building and, in the past few weeks, it has also been revealed that co-working workspace venture, Avenue HQ, is to take 23,000 sq ft across two floors.

DTM joins a growing network of established, professional and dynamic businesses choosing to make No 4 St Paul’s Square their base, including gas safety specialist Gas Tag, global insurance broker Marsh, and banking group Santander’s small business incubator.

Celebrating a decade in business, DTM offers legal advice and expertise across a number of areas of the law, including corporate & commercial, dispute resolution, commercial property, residential conveyancing, construction, employment, trust & estates, business recovery and agriculture.

In the latest Legal 500, the UK’s definitive guide to the top lawyers and law firms in the country, the firm achieved a total of nine rankings, including a top-tier award and three new entries, as well as name checks for 17 of its solicitors.

Anna Duffy, from DTM, said: “No 4 St Paul’s is a fantastic space – the best Liverpool has to offer – and we are delighted to be taking up residence here.

“As we celebrate our 10th birthday, DTM is on an upward trajectory. Our year-on-year turnover has grown by more than 30% and the first half of 2018 saw a 65% increase in turnover compared to the same period last year.

“We realised we needed to move into a space that could accommodate our growth and No 4 St Paul’s fits the bill perfectly.”

Agents Worthington Owen acted for DTM and CBRE acted for Aberdeen in securing the deal.

Neil Kirkham, area director at CBRE in Liverpool, said: “This letting is a real coup for No 4 St Paul’s. DTM Legal is one of the fastest growing law firms in the North West.

“Thanks to the progressive approach from Aberdeen, No 4 St Paul’s offers both a fantastic physical space and a healthy and positive environment – a winning combination and up to the high standards now demanded by the modern occupier.”
