Joint venture acquires major industrial development site

The proposed development

Trebor Developments/Maple Grove Developments joint venture has completed the purchase of a 5.3 acre site in Deeside, for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition was from Legal and General and the joint venture will now construct three speculative industrial units, ranging from 10,000 sq ft to 50,000 sq ft on a brownfield site.

The development has been branded as Boundary Park and will commence on site next month, following the granting of detailed planning approval in January.

The high quality industrial units will be available on a leasehold or freehold basis.

The scheme benefits from grant aid, via the Welsh Government.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, on behalf of the joint venture, said: “We are now good to start construction, following the site acquisition and look forward to delivering these range of three mid-size quality, industrial, units this year, meeting local demand for new facilities that are not generally available in the area.

“We expect strong interest from occupiers looking for competitively-priced, quality, industrial accommodation on a freehold or leasehold basis.”

Trebor/Maple Grove are represented by Legat Owen (Chester office) and Cushman and Wakefield (Manchester office).

The vendor, Legal and General, was represented by JLL.
