Affinity Living Riverside development celebrates topping out
Vita Group has celebrated the topping out of its Affinity Living Riverside scheme alongside construction partner, Sir Robert McAlpine.
Located on Quay Street, next to the riverside footpath that links Spinningfields to Blackfriars Street, the 17-storey building will comprise 190 apartments and is scheduled for completion in December 2019.
An additional 35-storey tower of 332 apartments, named Affinity Living Riverview, will complete in the third quarter of 2021.
Affinity Living’s Riverside scheme will be the first of three Affinity Living locations across Manchester, with other developments currently under construction at Circle Square on Oxford Road, and Embankment West on Chapel Street.
Vita Group’s residential brand, Affinity Living, is designed for today’s modern renter, which not only focuses on delivering amazing apartments for people to live in, but offers stylish communal spaces that will be open to the public.
Managing director of Affinity Living, Helen White, said: “The topping out of Riverside is a huge milestone for the development and marks the start of a monumental chapter for both the brand and our team.
“With six Affinity Living buildings going live across Manchester by the end of 2021, I am looking forward to opening the doors of our very first building.”

Following the opening of Affinity Living, Riverside, in December 2019, the brand will launch 332 units at Riverview in the third quarter of 2021, 683 units at Circle Square by April 2020 and 356 units at Embankment West in the first quarter of 2020.
