All change at the top for well-known architecture practice

MHA Architects

A Manchester based architects has reshuffled its management team.

MHA Architects has made four senior promotions and established a new management board.

The changes come after Harold Morris and Ian Thorp retired as directors of the company following 32 years of service.

The duo helped to grow the strong and dynamic practice. Highlights of their work include the Stockport Pyramid, the Express Building in Manchester and more recently the first 200 PureGyms.

Directors Jimmy Lennon and Paul Chadwick have been joined by newly-appointed directors, Andrew Callicott and Chris Yorke to form the new board.

Jimmy Lennon said, “Harold and Ian have made a huge contribution to the success of the practice.

“They have embodied our values and have been key in supporting the growth and development of a new generation of leaders.

“We wish them well in their retirement. Today’s announcement represents the culmination of a five year succession plan and I am delighted to welcome Andrew and Chris as directors.

“We look forward to working together to build on our success and deliver our vision of changing the way clients distinguish genuine good design.”
