Scheme to help unemployed Cumbrian youngsters

A SCHEME to get young unemployed people into work in Cumbria could benefit businesses involved in flood recovery work.Cumbria County Council is coordinating the Future Jobs Programme aimed at 18 to 24-year-olds which intends to create 128 new jobs by May.
Each job will last a minimum of six months and many could lead to more permanent employment.
Under the scheme - which has been financed by a £900,000 grant from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) - firms can get a £6,500 contribution to the new ......for the full story register now for free or login below...
