Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce a new partnership with C&C Insurance Brokers as an official partner, in a three-year agreement.

The partnership, following a long-standing hospitality agreement with the broker, sees Stockport-based C&C as the official back of shirt sponsor for the Lancashire’s Specsavers County Championship shirt over the next three seasons.

In addition, C&C will also co-brand Lancashire’s Specsavers County Championship match reports that feature on the club’s website and social media channels across the season, together with enhanced digital-focused content.

C&C Insurance Brokers is a top 50 Independent Broker in the UK, with offices in Stockport, Leeds, Hull, Newport and Chester.

The new partnership with C&C Insurance Brokers follows Lancashire Cricket’s recent announcement with Visit Manchester becoming the club’s official destination partner.

Daniel Gidney, Lancashire Cricket chief executive, said: “We’re delighted that C&C Insurance Brokers has partnered with the Club. We already have a very strong relationship with managing director, Malcolm Cooke and his team and it’s fantastic we have enhanced and formalised our partnership with them.

“It is a hugely exciting time to be part of the Red Rose family with 2019 being an historic year at Emirates Old Trafford with the ICC Cricket World Cup, Ashes and Lancashire’s domestic campaign.

“We’re looking forward to working with C&C over the next three years, and beyond.”

Malcolm Cooke said: “2019 is a massive year for cricket at Emirates Old Trafford, with the ICC Cricket World Cup match between India and Pakistan being the third largest sporting event in the world, in broadcast terms, after the Olympics and the football world cup.

“With 11 days of international cricket at Emirates Old Trafford, including the Ashes Test Match, 2019 promises to be an action packed year.

“As a North West-based company we pride ourselves on building relationships with businesses across the region, and we are excited to partner with an internationally-renowned venue, which is home to an iconic cricket club.

“We, therefore, look forward towards achieving shared successes, both on and off the field, as we continue to build awareness of our brand in the wider region.”

As part of the agreement, C&C will also sponsor three fixtures across the first XI’s domestic campaign, including two Specsavers County Championship games and one Vitality Blast game at Emirates Old Trafford this Summer.

C&C Insurance Brokers now joins the club’s family of partners including global brands such as Emirates, Hilton, Heineken, Thomas Cook Sport, UA92, Visit Manchester and Kukri.
