Anti-hangover aid among new range from Lancashire health patch firm

A Lancashire company has launched an anti-hangover patch as part of an expansion of its all natural vitamin product range.

Chorley-based Ohana Topical Patches says it is boosting its product range in response to a significant increase in demand.

Among the new lines are the anti-hangover aid, a sleep aid and Vitamin D patches, bringing the firm’s total range to 10.

The unique range of patches were launched in the UK earlier this year to help people with everything from improving general health and energy levels, to tackling swollen joints and aiding concentration.

The vitamins are absorbed slowly into the body through the skin, giving a steady flow for up to eight hours, and a medical adhesive ensures that the patch stays on throughout the day/night.

Peter Love, who has run his successful Lancashire property business for 18 years, launched Ohana Topical Patches across the UK after realising that the eight-hour slow-release of vitamins and herbal supplements into the body would aid many families.

He began researching the benefits of patches when his mother-in-law became unwell and he realised that there was no easy way to get beneficial vitamins into her system.

He said: “The response to the patches has been fantastic, largely due to the fact they are an all-natural alternative to pills and powders.

“They also offer many other proven benefits, including ease of use, steady time-release delivery, comfort, wearability, convenience and long storage life.

“Although the existing patches in the range would help people with things such as a hangover or the inability to sleep, we have been getting numerous requests from people asking for a dedicated patch to tackle those issues, so we have responded by launching an extended range of products.”

Devised by a group of doctors, health and wellness professionals, Ohana Topical Patches contain vitamin and supplement formulas available without prescription.

Hangover Free contains key nutrients lost through alcohol consumption. Applying this patch prior to consuming alcohol may help to reduce the symptoms of a hangover before they start, meaning you could wake up hangover free.

Sleep Ez contains melatonin, which helps control daily sleep-wake cycles, along with other nutrients which aid relaxation and natural sleep cycles, including the Hops Flower, L-Tryptophan and Valerian Root.
