Recruitment firm sells majority stake to French giant

Recruitment firm Sellick Partnership has sold a majority stake in its business to French giant Samsic.

The Manchester based recruitment specialist is looking to expand in the wake of the deal.

Sellick’s management team, led by founder and managing director Jo Sellick , will retain a significant stake in the business and continue to lead the firm. Samsic will take on a strategic advisory role.

Sellick works in finance, legal, HR, actuarial, procurement, housing and property services.

Sellick Partnership was launched in 2002 and has more than 100 employees in Manchester, Liverpool, Derby, Leeds, Newcastle, Stoke-on-Trent and London.

It has outperformed the market in recent years and reported a 24 per cent increase in turnover to £49m for the year to February 2019. e years.

Thierry Geffroy, president of Samsic Group and Gilles Cavallari, vice-president of Samsic HR said the deal will allow the company to extend its services across Europe.
