Cricket club extends deal with law firm

Lancashire Cricket Club has extended its deal with law firm Hill Dickinson for a further three years

Hill Dickinson, which delivers legal advice and strategic guidance across a full range of sectors, including; sports, financial services, technology, travel and leisure, will work closely with the Old Trafford club on all its legal requirements over the next three years.

Hill Dickinson will also work with the club’s official charity, the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, to provide community support throughout Lancashire.

Daniel Gidney, chief Executive at Lancashire Cricket, said: “We’re delighted that Hill Dickinson has extended their agreement with the Club.

“We believe they share our values, with a long, rich history and a passion for the North West, so align perfectly with our ethos and our long term vision.

“We’re proud to have Hill Dickinson as a partner, as we continue on a journey of growth and achievement which has seen operating profit grow from £750,000 in 2015 to £2.3m in 2017.

“This momentum is set to continue this year, as we are holding several high profile matches this summer, which includes six ICC Cricket World Cup fixtures, the 4th Specsavers Ashes Test and the Vitality Blast.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to work with Hill Dickinson over the exciting summer ahead and the next few years.”

As part of the agreement, Hill Dickinson has branding on the back of the Royal London One Day Shirt and supports the Girls without Boundaries programme, a project aimed at inspiring young women and building their confidence through a variety of engaging activities, which is run through the Foundation.

Hill Dickinson is part of the Club’s family of partners including global brands such as Emirates, Hilton, Heineken, Thomas Cook Sport, UA92, Visit Manchester and Kukri.
