Relocation coincides with industry verification achievement

C4 Projects' new base

C4 Projects has relocated its 27-strong team from Lymm to the Quayside Building, in Stockton Heath, to support the company’s growth.

C4 is an architect, project management and cost consultancy practice, and the announcement coincides with news that it has achieved BIM for design and construction verification certification from BSI (British Standards Institution), and is among the first architectural practices to attain this verification.

The company has taken 3,000 sq ft on a six-year lease. Bruntwood is the landlord and both tenant and landlord were unrepresented.

The multi-disciplinary practice operates nationwide across a wide range of sectors, notably industrial/logistics, education, office, residential and leisure.

Speaking about the company’s success, Damian Horridge, managing director, said: “To have been amongst the first architectural organisations to have achieved this certification to date is testament to the level of expertise we have within our team.

“The architectural division is a key area of growth for the company and this verification and new office space will undoubtedly see us grow from strength to strength.”

Andy Butterfield, product certification director of built environment at BSI, said: “We’re delighted to have supported C4 with achieving this verification certification. There are huge benefits to be made from integrating BIM into the supply chain, and BSI is dedicated to supporting organisations with this, regardless of where they are on their BIM journey.”

BIM is the management of information through the whole life-cycle of a built asset, from initial design, all the way through to construction, maintaining and finally de-commissioning, through the use of digital modelling.
