Mini golf course opens as part of seven figure investment in leisure site

Otterspool Adventure has opened the doors to its new, state-of-the-art mini golf course situated within the South Liverpool play facility.

The 12-hole themed course comes as part of a recent six-figure sum investment by owners Steven and Cheryl Cosgrove, who acquired the now award-winning venue in 2017.

Spanning more than 20,000 sq ft, the mini-golf course offers youngsters, and adults alike, the chance to immerse themselves in the attraction’s water features, hobbit house and bridges to name a few features.

Managing director Steven Cosgrove said: “Since our acquisition of the venue back in 2017, we’ve already invested over £2m into making the space the best it can be for our visitors of all ages.

“We didn’t want to create a play facility where parents sit on the side-lines, so we’ve introduced our mini-golf course to guarantee fun for all of the family.

“We’ve enlisted the help of a range of suppliers, including City Golf Europe, who are based in Sweden, who build worldwide golf courses in locations as far as Asia, and now in Otterspool, alongside Premier Plants, who arrived on site to help create the woodland aesthetic that is synonymous with our brand.

“By continuing to add additional elements to our existing play concept we’re on a mission to create a space that offers a full day out with a variety of activities to enjoy.”

As part of ongoing company developments, Otterspool Adventure is set to invest a further sum into its expansion with plans to add more family-friendly elements, including a boating lake.

Steven added: “We’re always looking for ways in which we can innovate and move forward to offer our visitors the highest standards when it comes to family play.”
