Aaron and Partners: Joseph Fletcher-Hunt and Hannah Fynn

Legal firm Aaron & Partners has announced two new appointments to support its growing real estate team.

Following an increasing number of instructions from commercial clients across Cheshire and Shropshire, Joseph Fletcher-Hunt and Hannah Fynn have both joined the team.

Joseph Fletcher-Hunt joins the real estate team in Chester as an associate solicitor.

Since graduating from the University of Law in Chester in 2010, he has worked with some major law firms across the region and has experience across a wide range of real estate and property matters.

He will work alongside real estate partner, Emma McGlinchey, who returned to the firm last summer, and will act on behalf of a number of Aaron & Partners’ local and national clients.

Joining Joseph is associate solicitor Hannah Fynn, who will be working in the firm’s Shrewsbury office.

Having also studied at the University of Law in Chester, Hannah has previously worked at law firms in North Wales and the West Midlands, having operated in a variety of Corporate & Commercial and Real Estate roles.

Commercial law firm Baines Wilson have made four new appointments to meet increasing demand for their services from businesses across the North West.

Having originally trained with the firm, Samantha-Jane Amor has re-joined as a corporate solicitor, Paul Carson has been appointed as an employment solicitor, Ruby Mckeague joins as solicitor specialising in dispute resolution and litigation, and Harry Colwell joins as trainee solicitor in the commercial property department.

Paul Ryman

Law firm gunnercooke, has strengthened its employment team in Manchester bringing in partner Paul Ryman from Brabners.

He joins at the same time as legal counsel, Rachel Spink, previously legal director at Hill Dickinson.

Paul has significant experience of advising employers on their employment issues.

Paul is an experienced and successful employment litigator, with cases reported in the national press and the law reports.

Paul’s clients include SMEs through to large corporates and PLCs; senior employees and company directors; entrepreneurs and business owners; registered providers of social housing; and charities.

Rachel Spink

Rachel is an experienced employment lawyer, having specialised in the area since her qualification in 2004. Rachel advises on all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing protection, sickness absence, social media issues, breach of contract and redundancy. She regularly undertakes advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and presents to clients on a variety of employment law issues.

John Pauley

Commercial law firm Harper James Solicitors has announced the expansion of its national team with the appointment of a financial services solicitor.

Formerly at global law firm, DLA Piper, John Pauley brings with him extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly consumer credit, payment services, E-money, crypto-currencies, initial coin offerings, data protection and money laundering legislation.

Prior to embarking on a legal career, John worked in financial services for over a decade, performing a range of roles including project, compliance and risk management at MBNA Bank during which he instructed and worked with external and internal legal counsel.
