Raft of promotions and hires at advisory firm

FRP advisory team in Manchester

Advisory firm FRP Advisory has announced four senior promotions and three new hires in Manchester.

The appointments follow a significant period of growth for the firm which has increased headcount by 33 per cent over the last 12 months and invested into all areas of the business.

Richard Goodall and Simon Farr have been promoted from senior manager to director, having both worked with FRP Advisory’s restructuring team for over six years.

With more than 23 years’ combined experience, they have played key roles in the delivery of corporate restructuring solutions to businesses across the North West.

Ben Woolrych, partner and location head for FRP Advisory in Manchester, said: “Since arriving at FRP Advisory both Richard and Simon have been committed to providing the best possible support for businesses across the region, often in difficult and complex times, and they thoroughly deserve their promotions.

“We’re confident that their new roles as directors will allow them to carry on this fantastic work and help FRP Advisory further support our clients here in Manchester and across the North West.”

Elsewhere in the business, Alex Starling has been promoted to senior manager in the corporate finance team and Ayse Hassan to manager in the restructuring team.

FRP Advisory has also recently welcomed three new members of staff to its Manchester office.

Restructuring Advisory specialist David Bonner joined as a senior manager from KPMG, corporate finance specialist Andy Venables joined as a manager from chartered accountants Langtons in Liverpool, and Natasha McDowall joined as an administrator from Grant Thornton.

Mr Woolrych added: “We’ve seen significant growth across the business this year and the talent that is entering our company ensures that we can continue to provide the full suite of advisory services to businesses across the North West.”

FRP Advisory now employs more than 340 people across its network of 19 offices in England and Scotland. It provides clients with the full suite of business advisory services including corporate restructuring, corporate finance, forensic services, pensions advisory and debt funding.
