New Grade A office space to open in Liverpool this week

Edward Pavilion reception

A brand new office space in the heart of Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock will be unveiled later this week.

The Grade I-listed Edward Pavilion stands grandly on the waterfront of the iconic location, offering spacious, state-of-the art office space that has been sympathetically restored to make the most of the warehouses’s original features.

This Thursday, (June 27), the office will be officially opened to celebrate the new Grade A working environment, offering a range of refreshments and networking opportunities.

The launch event, taking place from 4pm-6pm, is open to any businesses, large or small, looking to relocate and be based at this address.

Dating back to the 19th century, Edward Pavilion boasts impressive barrel-vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork, raised floor and cast iron columns that give the inside space incredible character.

Developer Castleforge Partners acquired the site in December 2017 and has worked tirelessly to create a contemporary, high specification office than spans across 70,000 sq ft.

Rachael Pittaway, from Castleforge Partners, said: “The redevelopment of Edward Pavilion has been an incredibly exciting project.

“We have keen to build upon the original structure and features the building boasts in order to create a unique environment that people are proud to work from.

“Since announcing our plans we have been inundated with interest and so we expect space to be snapped up quickly, therefore, we encourage anyone looking to start their business journey, or to relocate to bigger space, to contact the team to find out more.”

In April 2019, it was announced serviced office provider Clockwise would be the first occupier at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock.

Clockwise will cater to businesses of all kinds, ranging from freelancers to SMEs, while also regularly hosting networking events and conferences, with meeting rooms and private phone booths also available.

At Edward Pavilion, businesses can enjoy from 2,000-35,000 sq ft, making it easy for companies to scale up and down.

Facilities include: Spacious, collaborative breakout areas over three floors; five generous meeting rooms for 4–16 people; high speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and laptop stations; impressive event space; independent on-site café serving fresh, artisan food daily; bike storage; modern showers, private changing rooms and secure lockers; exclusive members’ package offering local leisure discounts; Gold Wiredscore rating, meaning it has excellent digital infrastructure and connectivity – a first in Liverpool; and a manned reception and concierge.
