The Manchester office of property consultancy Gerald Eve has reported a 30% hike in revenue in the past 12 months and is set to make further investment to support future growth in the city.

The consultancy is working with new clients including Grosvenor Estates, National Museums Liverpool and Henley Investments.

Steve Woodford joined the Manchester team as landlord and tenant partner at the beginning of the year, alongside two new senior associates in rating and building consultancy.

These hires, along with three other appointments later this year and a further graduate intake in September, will bring the headcount at No1 Marsden Street to 31 before the end of 2019.

To accommodate the expanding team the Manchester office has announced it is to commit to a £150,000 refurbishment programme and workspace remodelling in July which will be delivered by Flexible Business Interiors.

Specialist property PR consultancy Inform Communications has also been appointed to support the Manchester team and a programme of client events and staff development initiatives have been organised for the coming months.

Callum Robertson, partner and joint head of the Manchester team with Harry Spawton, said: “Gerald Eve is investing heavily in its national network of nine offices which are central to our ability to deliver a UK-wide offer.

“Manchester is a key hub within our regional network and is the only base outside London with a full service offering.

“The investment we make into our staff, office environment, the development of services lines, supporting our clients and expanding our network across the city is already paying dividends and we will see that investment continue throughout 2019 and beyond.”

Spawton added: “As well as continuing our recruitment drive and upgrading the office space we are continuing to invest in developing new service lines such as building consultancy which has grown to a team of five in the last 12 months.

“We lead a number of national service lines out of Manchester such as planning and development and the investment into Manchester underlines our commitment to offering clients the very best service and advice directly from Manchester and through our national network.”

Gerald Eve’s clients are both local and national and are across both the public and private sectors.

They include developers, landowners and investors and clients. The consultancy also has offices in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Milton Keynes and West Malling.
