Family restaurant ceases trading just months after opening

The Treehouse

A restaurant aimed at families in Altrincham has closed its doors less than a year after it opened.

The Treehouse, which featured an indoor adventure playground, has closed without warning.

The restaurant on George Street in the town centre was owned by couple Adam Abadi and Samah Fakhro.

The indoor playground  has rope bridges, wooden huts and a giant slide and, twice a month, hosted a Saturday night Pyjama Club.

Just under 20 staff were employed at the restaurant which opened last autumn. Some have said they have not been paid.

Staff were told by phone of the closure and a note has been placed in the window of The Treehouse.

The notice advises people to contact CG&Co – specialists in business turnaround and recovery.

CG&Co has released at statement. It said: “SAF Ventures Limited t/a Treehouse is a state-of-the-art children’s soft play centre and bistro located on George Street in Altrincham.
