Bury-based Quest Personal Care has opened a new office and showroom in London.

The maker of disposable personal care, beauty and skin care products which includes the Skin Academy name, says the 2,600 sq ft premises in Harrow will become a new hub for the business making it more accessible to customers and buyers based in the South and will complement its current headquarters.

Chief executive Antony Wagman, said: “We’ve been operating out of Manchester since 1994 and a move into London felt like the natural next step that strategically places us in the heart of the sector amongst key decision makers and influencers.

“Quest Personal Care has been on a journey of incredible growth penetrating new markets and increasing its exports division with recent launches into Germany and Holland and it feels the time is right for significant investment into a London base to further capitalise on this business growth.

“We have bold KPI’s for the brands and are confident with a new London presence it will put us on the right footing to achieve these.”

The London base will also become a showroom for one of Quests most successful brands, Skin Academy, a new skincare brand that launched in January 2018 and has seen retail sales rocket to more than £2m in the first year of trading.

Antony added: “With national and international listings already secured, the Skin Academy brand is on a journey of growth with a series of new product launches in the pipeline that will really make the industry sit up and take notice.

“We’ve already had our new INK’D range of aftercare products for tattoos reach the finals of the international Pure Beauty Global awards and we are keen to emulate this success with further investment into innovative products, that aren’t offered by any competitors.”
