Vimto maker maintains progress as revenues and profits improve

Soft drinks firm, and maker of the iconic Vimto drink, Nichols, has reported improved revenues and pre-tax profits for the first half, today. The Newton-le-Willows-based firm also announced that group chief financial officer, Tim Croston, is to step down in June next year. Figures for the six months to June 30, revealed a 10.2% increase in sales, to £71.6m, while pre-tax profits edged up 2% to £13.3m.
