City hotel scheme embarks on £500k transformation programme

A £500,000 transformation programme is under way at Liverpool’s latest hotel development.

Urbanista Hotel, in Bold Street, will open later this Summer and is undergoing development work ahead of its launch by Liverpool-based property firm Evolve.

The firm says the hotel will offer a mixture of double rooms and suites

The hotel is expected to create multiple career vacancies from managerial roles through to front of house and housekeeping.

Urbanista was announced by Evolve Property Group in May, and will see former student halls converted as part of the project.

The site will offer 20 luxury double rooms and suites across three floors.

A number of suites will also have private external courtyards.

David Colebourn, Evolve Property Group managing director, and owner of Urbanista, said: “Urbanista’s opening is nearing and we can’t wait to welcome our guests.

“We’re pushing forward with the development of the hotel and we are aiming for a late September launch which is on track and ensuring that we’ll be delivering the project on time,”

The hotel will be operated by Voya Hotels.
