Construction starts on 194-home site with occupants due to move in this Winter

Proposals for Grey Gables Farm

Following the acquisition of more than 15 acres of land on Brindle Road in Bamber Bridge, Bellway has now commenced construction at its new residential development, Grey Gables Farm.

The housebuilder will transform the site into a stunning development of 194 homes, with the first properties released for sale next month and the first residents scheduled to move in this Winter.

Offering a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom new build homes, including a mix of semi-detached and detached properties, all of the homes at Grey Gables Farm will be sold freehold.

With its sought-after location in South Ribble, an established residential area three miles south east of Preston, Grey Gables Farm benefits from excellent local amenities and good transport links.

Hollie Reynolds, sales director at Bellway, said: “Work is now under way at Grey Gables Farm.

“It promises to be an attractive development with a superb range of properties, and we anticipate lots of interest from local homebuyers, as well as those from further afield wanting to move to South Ribble.”

In addition to the new development, Bellway will make several significant financial contributions, including a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) of £776,000, £300,000 towards the local bus service, a further £5,900 towards secure lockers at the train station and mobile speed cameras, £150,000 for a playing pitch and an additional £19,000 for a play area.

There will also be the provision of affordable housing.
