Stockport-based musicMagpie has appointed Rachel Coxon to a newly-created role of group HR and talent director.

She will be responsible for leading the people strategy and driving talent attraction and retention within the business in both the UK and US, where the brand operates under the name of Decluttr.

Rachel joins musicMagpie at a pivotal time and brings with her extensive experience in all areas of HR and talent management within a diverse range of sectors.

“Before joining musicMagpie she was engaged in a number of senior interim roles within the technology, mobile and retail sectors and has a real commitment to employee engagement, and the attraction and development of talent.

In her new role she will be responsible for helping to develop and expand the digital and technology teams within the business as its looks to consolidate its market position of now being the UK’s biggest and best mobile phone recycler.

Eric Wright Water has appointed Paul Swann as commercial manager.

Paul joins the company, which is part of the Preston-based Eric Wright Group, from utilities services company Amey where he spent 10 years and was head of commercial for the United Utilities key account.

He brings to the role more than 25 years’ experience in commercial management of utility and housing building companies.

Eric Wright Water’s multi-disciplinary engineering team is growing after securing new contracts servicing both clean and waste water sites across the UK.

Paul’s appointment will further strengthen the commercial side of the water business and will support the wider group’s commercial aims.

He said: “Being owned by the Eric Wright Trust the ownership model of Eric Wright Group is unique and it was a real draw for me to join a company with such a solid ethical reputation. To have the opportunity to work for a commercially-focused business which also has a genuine social conscience is really exciting.

Kolodo, the Liverpool-based digital marketing consultancy, has hired Hollie Bradbury as a digital project manager.

Hollie, who joins from We Influence where she was content & influencer marketing manager, has worked for more than six years in the industry, predominantly on search marketing and social media campaigns for a wide range of clients.

At Kolodo she will be heading up the delivery department, leading the consultancy’s largest design and build projects.

Hollie said: “I’m thrilled to be leading on the delivery of Kolodo’s digital projects. Project management was the natural next step within my career, and I’m delighted to be working in this area at this fantastic, growing agency.”

Managing director Josh Diamond added: “Hollie has a great reputation within the industry and the team can’t wait to get her on board. Hollie’s skills and great personality will be an excellent addition to the team.”

Bury and Bolton-based law firm Clough & Willis has grown its residential property team with the appointment of Marjorie Lord who joins the department as a residential conveyancer.

During her career Marjorie has held positions in both private practice and in-house and for the past few years she has worked as a locum at several North West firms.

She specialises in all areas of residential conveyancing including sales and purchases, remortgage work, advising landlords and tenants, sales and purchases at auction and the purchases of freeholds. She also has experience of dealing with private client matters.

Marjorie will now work alongside the other four members of the residential property team including Lorraine Stratton-Webb who heads up the department.

Lorraine said: “Marjorie is an experienced residential conveyancing specialist so we are delighted that she is now part of our growing team.”

Marjorie said: “I’ve known about Clough & Willis for many years and it felt like the right firm for me when I decided to move away from locum work. My focus is now on helping my new colleagues to deliver a first class service to our clients.”

Mosart Khanim has been appointed chief operations officer of retail services company Suresite Group.

Mosart joined the Preston company in January 2019 as payment card services manager.

As a result of the internal promotion, Mosart will now oversee not only Suresite Card Services, but also Suresite Health & Safety and Suresite Wetstock.

She joined Suresite Group, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, earlier this year from fuel card company Radius Payment Solutions, where she was UK head of customer service. Prior to that she had 25 years’ experience in banking.
