Facilities management firm lands series of major contracts

A facilities management firm has won a series of major contracts.

Warrington firm Westgrove Group has secured a wealth of new contracts with many of them in the south of England.

Westgrove provides isecurity, cleaning and PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) services to shopping centres and mixed-use destinations, corporate offices, business parks and airports.

The firm has a current turnover of £23m and has set itself the goal of becoming a £40m turnover business within five years.

A significant contract win was the Telford Shopping Centre, in partnership with managing agent Savills.

The centre in Shropshire is being transformed in a £55m revamp to help deliver a new modern environment for shoppers and the right space for anchor stores.

Centre Director Glynn Morrow said: “We are delighted to enter into a new soft services partnership with Westgrove.

“Telford is undergoing a fantastic redevelopment with the emphasis on guest experience and customer services and we are excited to be undertaking this journey with Westgrove and their wealth of shopping centre experience.”

Westgrove has also secured other new contract wins with managing agents Savills, CBRE, Montagu Evans & Lee Baron.

Westgrove has appointed its first business development director in the South.

Adrian Canale, who has over 15 years’ experience working in the FM industry. The company will be opening a new satellite office in the south later this year.
