BUSINESS minister Mark Prisk has thrown his weight behind Cheshire's plan to put its economic benefits on the map.

Next month it is staging the first ever Celebrate Cheshire event - a two day conference and business showcase.

Prisk says the event, taking place at Cheshire Racecourse on September 16 and 17 -  is a "great way of supporting economic development".
