A RETAIL site occupied by Ford Retail in St Helens has been sold for £3.45m.

Ilkley-based property development and investment company Opus Land has sold the 1.5 acre site, which is opposite Ravenhead Retail Park, to a private investor.

Ford, which relocated to the 17,500 sq ft showroom on site from the town centre, is paying £274,000 a year rental on a 20-year lease, representing a yield of 7.5%.
