Rising fuel costs hit haulier

A SMALL haulage firm based in Liverpool has gone into administration with the loss of nine jobs.
Maguire Trading was forced out of business by a combination of rising fuel costs and a lack of finance, according to joint administrator Darren Brookes of the accountancy firm Milner Boardman & Partners.
Mr Brookes said he was now selling off Maguire's assets but had granted a licence to another firm to run the company's contracts.
