LANCASHIRE-based education technology company Promethean has won a multi-million euro contract in Spain.

The fast-growing Blackburn-based firm will now install 4,550 of its electronic whiteboards in 1,900 schools in the Spanish region of Andalucia.

This represents a 70% share of the total number of interactive whiteboards available under the tender.

Andalucia has over 8 million inhabitants and over 6,000 primary and secondary schools, making it the largest of Spain's 17 autonomous regions.
