Profits hit £1.36m at PI firm Express Solicitors

PERSONAL injury law firm Express Solicitors has reported a 39% increase in fee income to £4.15m with a pre-tax profit of £1.36m for the year.

The Manchester-based firm has also seen its caseloads grow by 41% over the same period, which it said is a direct result of increased investment in marketing and a significant increase in business driven through its website.

James Maxey, managing partner, said: “These great results follow a strategic review and decision to focus on complex cases rather than volume. We are handling more complex cases due to our investment in marketing and also winning them by ensuring we employ experts in the field.

“Obviously we are extremely pleased with this performance and that business continues to grow, particularly in the current economic climate.”

Express Solicitors employees 72 staff, including three partners and 36 fee earners.  The firm specialises in personal injury and accident claims, medical and clinical negligence claims and serious injury claims.
