Dyno-Rod franchise splashes out on new base

A COMPANY holding a key regional Dyno-Rod franchise has bought a new base after growing sales and staff numbers.

Roger Little Ltd has moved its operations from two rented sites in Stockport and Macclesfield to a bigger unit on Stockport’s Whitehall Industrial Estate with the support from NatWest, which provided a six-figure loan to help fund the purchase.

Roger Little’s franchise covers large chunks of Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Over the last four years its workforce has increased from 35 to 55 and turnover topped £3m.

Founded in 1966 the company was one of the first Dyno-Rod franchises.  It provides a comprehensive 24-hour drain cleaning and repair service to domestic, commercial and industrial customers.

Sue Savage, director of Roger Little said: “Operating from two different sites was not ideal and limited our plans to develop the business.  Bringing everything together under one roof has been a priority for some time and we are delighted to have completed the move.

“It gives us the chance to reconfigure the way in which we work so that the business can operate as efficiently as possible and also allows us to look at what additional services we can provide customers.”

John Paulson, senior relationship manager at NatWest said: Sue and the rest of her management team have shown considerable business acumen to create one of the largest Dyno-Rod franchises in the UK.

“Operating from one location will benefit the business and we are very pleased to have helped them make this move.”

Roger Little also operates a franchise for Dyno Plumbing, which provides plumbing services from servicing leaks to full bathroom installations and central heating installation for domestic and commercial customers.
