LOW cost retailer TJ Morris, the name behind Home Bargains, has scooped a prestigious award in this year's Grocer Gold Awards.

The privately-owned Liverpool firm has scooped the prestigious 'Discount Retailer of the Year' award.

The ceremony, which took place last Wednesday at the Guildhall in London, was attended by representatives from some of the UK’s biggest brands, including ASDA, Waitrose and Cadbury.
